Amy grew up in Iowa, where she developed a love of visual and written communication as editor / designer of her high school newspaper. After getting her degree in journalism with a design focus and a minor in business administration, Amy moved to Chicago in 1999 and began her career at Allured Publishing. She developed skills as a print and web designer and eventually art director, before relocating to San Diego in 2005 where she began working for Total Gym. Amy is now serving as art director, spearheading a design rejuvenation of the company brand.
While working full-time, Amy continuously seeks out freelance partners and projects to keep her design sensibilities sharp.
Amy lives in San Diego with her husband and their dog, Charlie.
